...in myself!
I became so dang overwhelmed with school and work and completely neglected this blog (which is, I suppose, a good thing for my grades) !!
Anywayyyy, I'm back and at it! Plus, I'm almost positive that I'll stay true to this sucker now that summer is here and I can imagine that I'll have much more time to take many more photographias!
So! Over the past two month-ish, my mama and I have been watching this bird (we named Betty White) make a nest, lay 4 lovely eggs, and raise only 2 (unfortunately not all four) birds. and I took photos throughout their experience! Here they are! :)

PRAISE THE LORD.
the coolest thing happened this week.
i'm not sure how to make the actual video appear on my blog here so i'm just pasted the link to the youtube site:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyheJ480LYA
this 'skit,' which is so real to so many people, is really important to me. a number of people in my youth group has performed it for different occasions, i did it at a youth retreat for another church and a lot of friends of mine have done them on mission trips in haiti and czech. anyway!
Friends of mine in my youth group has attempted to preform this skit at their talent show at Prior Lake High School and the school wouldn't let them.. people at my school didn't really want to ask because they thought it'd be a lost cause. but i asked.
the man in charge of our talent show, i recently found out, is Christian. I get emotional watching it and teared up showing him the video and when he saw me, he teared up and he told me that he is so happy that we want to do it and said that we can. Praise The Lord, He will shine and all glory will go to Him, man.
The Lord is good* = biggest understatement ever.
God Bless you!

I saw God today!
while I was at a weekend-long competition called SkillsUSA this weekend, i looked down at the tub and a friend of mine's bathing suit was hanging off the side. i realized that the shape it made actually sort of looked like the "Christian fish" ... i LOVE it when God does something like that and makes himself evident.. it's awesome. and wayyyy comforting. oh my word. anyway. :) here it is!

God Bless ya!

ducks! :D
animals are awesome.
seriously, they're great! so much personality and love and loyalty.
the first photo is of a guy and chick duck, ya know? the chick could NOT get rid of her man. whereever she went, he was right on her tail (hahah, no pun intended!). it was so sweet. and my mama told me today that if one gets killed or dies, their mate won't leave the other! isn't that sweet? man, that's loyalty right there! people could really learn a lot from animals... just just because they're deticated. but they're so forgiving! take dogs, for example. i mean, i don't need to go into detail about how sweet and forgiving they are to jerks. i lived next to a hosue for 11 years of a man who kept his dogs chained to a garage with nowhere to sleep and a bucket full of muddy water. those many dogs were the sweetest, most loyal, forgiving dogs i've ever met.
we could learn a lot from animals, indeed.
OH! and happy late* easter! Christ has risen! amen!
goodnight and my God abundantly bless and fufill you! :)
